One day in alt.stupidity, amid the run-of-the-mill stupidity about bacon and Mars and all that, a completely new kind of post appeared. No one had ever seen a post like this: it’s contents were cryptic, so complex in its bold simplicity. The post merely stated, “SIASD: What does it mean, what does it mean!?” What could such a message mean? Who could possibly post something like this? Why would someone post something like this?
The mystery of SIASD didn’t stop with one post. Another post appeared, titled, “SIASD: The Sequel.” It didn’t stop there. More and more posts appeared, one after another, begging an answer to the eternal, unanswerable question: What does SIASD mean???
This webpage, dedicated to all that is SIASD, will attempt to answer this confounding question.
Alan B’stard proposed that SIASD was “one of those green, fuzzy things that whoozle at night.”
Noticing the peculiar capitalization of the word and thinking that SIASD may be an acronym, Frank Carr proposed the following—
Stupid Is As Stupid Does.
Stupid Internet And Stupid Domain.
Saddam Is A Silly Dickhead.
Stupidity Is A Spammer’s Delight.
Michael Roach has suggested another acronym, Stupid is a Shit Donut. No comment.
Alan B’stard, in another post, stated he figured out what it meant, but realizing how powerful possessing this information must be, failed to dislose it.
The famous Professor Bucket D. Mouth formulated this theory: “I did but all it siasd is ‘dno’t spissmell sadis you frippin forker!!!’ ” This statement has been run through several cycles in the best supercomputers in the world, but it has not been decoded yet.
Wxwilki merely popped when he tried to reply.
Alan B’stard, trying to mislead the investigation so it wouldn’t be discovered he knew the secret meaning of SIASD, turned the thread into a Me too thread. Laurent Sieter furthered it; there is obviously some kind of coverup conspiracy at work here.
v2r simply replied with, “You don’t fool me.” He appears to know something about the coverup, or be involved in it.
An AOLer claiming to be justjerkedoff@spankme (I know who you are) proposed it stands for Stupid Insane And Strictly Delirious.
Lowellius came up with this fine piece of logic explaining SIASD: “SIASD means that O.J. [me] is a Fucking Moron!!!!!!!!!! oh! wait! that doesn’t work! does it… I actually do know whgat it means! if you want to know… T.S.” He seems to be another member of the coverup.
Royal6 suggested several acronyms: “Satan Is Alive So Dissappear”, “Secret International Assoc Soviet Diplomats”, or “Sing It All Silly Dude.” Or it could be backwards even, and therefore “Duh Silly And Idiotic Site” would be a possibility. He blathered on to say that “it could be a psych expirement to see how many Silly Idiotic And Super Dumb people try to make [it] have some sort of meaning.”
Greg Schultz, having some fixation on the letter D, suggested that the D in SIASD could stand for any of the following: Dirigible, decapitate, dolorous, diagnosis, dervish, deleterious, drastic, Draconian, or Darwinian. He failed to comment on any of the other letters, but he did say that SIASD is composed of five letters. We much appreciate his verification of that fact.
A persom calling himself Adam simply commented, “Yes…” Apparently another person with information but too afraid to come forward.
daiivud, who did not want to reveal his real name, presented the following startling information—
I was staring at the five-letter word (SIASD) and noticed that when the letters where rearranged it formed the words: Sad is … but the question is who … My theory is that it is some message from an alien seeking some kind of emotional help (or a group of aliens). The reason the alien didn’t mention who is sad is because in their language they have no word representing oneself … I know this because I worked on decoding alien markings found at several classified sights until I was … injured on the job.
Whether this is authentic or a hoax has not been determined.

Keith Murray claims that SIASD is the solution to all the world’s problems relating to the hostile takeover of a Turkish florist shop.
Beast_10 offered two acronymical explanations: “Stars In Andromeda Shot Down?” or “See it at Sid’s Domain?”
streetspirit60 stated, “I think the organized acedenic propaganda group has something to do with it.” This suspicion was investigated and dismissed long ago.
theonlybrandon suggested it was a divine message from Jesus, “So, I am still dead!”
A person calling themselves Justin Case offered this acronym: “SIASD Is Also Something Different.” The possibility of SIASD existing within itself is quite disturbing.
